Team SouL and Blind Esports have simultaneously released their Battlegrounds Mobile India eSports lineup. SouL will likely acquire the former Blind eSports lineup.
Previously, Animesh Agarwal, aka 8bit Thug, co-owner of Team SouL had said that the future of their then eSports lineup depends hugely upon how they perform in the upcoming BGMI LAN Tournaments.
After the recently concluded BGMI Pro Series 2023, Team SouL bid farewell to four of its five eSports players: Omega (IGL), Hector, Neyo, and Akshat via an Instagram announcement of December 23, 2023. This lineup, together with Goblin, was the BGMI Pro Series Champions in 2022.
The winners of BMPS 2023 Blind Esports also released their former lineup via an Instagram announcement.
Where is Goblin going?
Team SouL has made no official announcement regarding the future of Goblin. As of December 24, Goblin remains in SouL. However, if it acquires the former Blind Esports lineup, its members will increase to 6. This scenario is highly unlikely. We posit that Goblin shall move into a new eSports lineup.
